Alexandra Josephson is a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts in public health from Brown University, expected in December 2023. In addition to working with the Vista Clinical Research Group, Alexandra works for Brown’s Mindfulness center and is conducting research in the Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences in the School of Public Health. She is currently writing her honors thesis on the intersection between adverse birth outcomes and child/adolescent well-being among minoritized populations. Alexandra’s research interests include addiction and substance use, social determinants of health, and improving and creating culturally competent care solutions for black and indigenous populations.
